Ayati

A helping hand for children with disabilities...

Roshan Mahanama has been involved with “AYATI” from the inception in 2016 and he is a trustee of the Ayati Trust Sri Lanka. AYATI is the first national centre for children with disabilities in Sri Lanka. The centre has over 11,000 children registered from ACROSS Sri Lanka and all services are provided free of charge. Our urgent need now is to find funds to sustain the centre and we seek your support.

Ayati refers to “HOPE” in Sanskrit. Ayati is a long term sustainable, national initiative that helps children with disabilities become productive, integrated members of society.

Our Main Objectives;

  • Construct and operate a national centre of excellence for children with disabilities at the faculty of medicine in Ragama.
  • Change public perception about the abilities of these children and eliminate the stigma associated with the condition.
  • Extend the services of the centre to rural areas of Sri Lanka in the long run.

Help us to sustain this National Centre for Children with Disabilities!
